So, I don’t watch The Bachelor. I actually don’t watch reality TV in general, but I particularly don’t understand “looking for love” TV shows. I have heard, however, that the most recent season just ended with some kind of shocking and world-changing event in the final selection.
But today I was in the grocery store, and plastered over every magazine cover, was this man:
Apparently, he was the bachelor. Seriously? I mean, I am no shallow girl, but there’s a reason these losers have to go on reality television to get a girlfriend. They are rarely educated, and never smart or interesting or especially successful. They’re supposed to at least be hot. Which leads me to wonder why any girl would be willing to give up her job, leave her home and have a video camera broadcasting her entire life for twelve weeks as she makes a complete fool of herself to win the affections of a man who looks like Han Solo’s trusted companion and bodyguard, Chewbacca, if said Wookiee got hair style inspiration from Ringo Starr circa 1970.

I get it.
Speaking of the Bachelor and crazies, Barbara Walters told Us Weekly that as a woman, she is offended by the TV show, which is funny, because as a woman, she wasn’t offended when Rush Limbaugh said that women who take birth control and expect it to be covered by birth control are sluts and whores.
